1. Definitions
“Site” means https://viatechstack.com/. “Tech Stack,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refers to the business operating the Site. “Reader Revenue Manager” or “RRM” is the Google platform that handles subscriptions, contributions, billing, and certain account data for us. “You” or “user” refers to any visitor, reader, subscriber, or contributor.
2. Eligibility & Agreement
You must be 18 or older and legally able to contract. If you use the Site on behalf of an entity, you confirm you have the authority to bind that entity. Accessing or using any part of the Site constitutes acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
3. Subscriptions, Contributions, and Billing
- All subscription and one-time contribution payments—including taxes—are processed by Google through RRM. By purchasing, you authorize Google to debit your chosen payment method for recurring fees or one-time charges.
- Google, not Tech Stack, issues purchase receipts and stores your payment credentials. Review Google’s own policies for details on how they secure and use that data.
- Subscription benefits begin the moment the initial charge succeeds and continue until cancelled (see Section 4).
- We may change pricing or plan structures; new rates apply on the next billing cycle. We will notify active subscribers at least 14 days in advance by email.
4. Cancellation & Refunds
4.1 Standard process
- You can cancel at any time in your Google Account ➜ “Payments & subscriptions” ➜ “Manage subscriptions.”
- Cancellation stops future charges, but your access stays active until the current paid period ends.
- Refund requests are handled through Google’s RRM interface. We may approve a full or pro-rated refund at our discretion.
4.2 Germany & France – one-click cancel button
To comply with local law and Google’s RRM implementation rules, German and French subscribers will always see a fixed button labeled “Cancel contracts here” (“Verträge hier kündigen” in German). Clicking it redirects you to Google’s cancellation flow.
5. Intellectual Property
All Site content (text, graphics, video, code, trademarks) belongs to Tech Stack or our licensors. Except for limited personal viewing, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
6. Acceptable Use & Content Standards
You agree not to:
- Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Attempt to hack, scrape, spam, or interfere with the Site or Google’s services.
- Submit or upload content that falls under any of Google’s RRM-prohibited categories, including but not limited to hate speech, harassment, violent threats, child sexual content, extremist propaganda, deceptive practices, manipulated media, illegal activity, or promotion of weapons or drugs.
- Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or the origin of content.
- Collect or distribute someone else’s confidential information without permission.
7. User-Generated Content
If you post comments or other material (“User Content”), you:
- Grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, adapt, and distribute that content in connection with the Site.
- Warrant that you own or control the necessary rights and that User Content complies with Section 6.
- Acknowledge that we may remove or refuse any User Content at any time.
8. No Professional Advice
Content on the Site is for general information only and is not legal, financial, or professional advice. Always seek qualified counsel before acting on any information here.
9. Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as-is” and “as-available.” We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free operation or that the Site is virus-free.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tech Stack and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or related to the Site will not exceed USD 100.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Tech Stack harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your User Content, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for any breach of these Terms or Google’s RRM policies. Upon termination, Sections 5, 6, 8-12 survive.
13. Severability
If any provision is unenforceable, it will be modified to reflect the parties’ intent or severed, and the rest remains in effect.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms and the linked policies constitute the entire agreement between you and Tech Stack regarding the Site.
